At Mama Makan, the rice table takes center stage, with delicious small dishes to share. But favorites such as Sate Ayam, Rendang, Nasi Goreng and GadoGado can also be found on the menu. The bar is open all day and serves special cocktails in addition to good Javanese coffee. The exotic signature cocktails are based on the history of Dutch spice merchants, featuring ingredients such as coffee, ginger, lemongrass, vanilla and cocoa beans.
Traditions in timeless design
Mama's home Makan, by design of Concrete Amsterdam, follows ancient trade routes. Light wood, tropical patterns and verticals gardens make an elegant bow to the background of Mama Makan. A rotating tray in the center of the table makes it easy to share favorite dishes.
Every 2nd Sunday of the month from 12:30 to 3 p.m., the bottomless Bali Brunch takes place where you can enjoy unlimited authentic Balinese dishes. From soups to fish and meat dishes and delicious desserts. For young and old!
The kitchen at Mama Makan is open Monday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.. The bar is open every day from 9:00 to 1:00.
