Teds knows how to do brunch right
On one of the most beautiful streets in Old West sits Teds. An all-day brunch spot where you won't be looked at oddly if you order a glass of champagne with your breakfast at 10 a.m.
Teds is known as one of the most popular spots in Amsterdam west for a (boozy) brunch. The menu is a mix of classic and original dishes, paired with good coffee, fresh juices and delicious cocktails. What they are very good at are the egg dishes. From fried and scrambled with a wide choice of toppings, to poached and smothered in Hollandaise sauce. Of the sandwiches, the Philly Cheese Steak with cheddar cheese, onions & jalapeno mayonnaise and the Goat Cheese with pear, avocado, honey & hazelnut are worth mentioning. Gluten-free bread? Have them, too! According to Ted's, booze is part of brunch. The Mimosa Brunch, for example, is served with a cup of tea and the French Toast with bacon and banana. So above all, don't be afraid to add a glass of champagne or Bloody Mary to your dish at 11:00 in the morning.
