Mr. Porter steakhouse, cocktail bar and rooftop
The rooftop experience of this cosmopolitan steakhouse and cocktail bar offers iconic views of the Old Town and its buildings. Mr. Porter is a creation of Yossi Eliyahoo, known for MOMO, Izakaya, The Butcher and The Duchess.
The intersection of Spuistraat and Paleisstraat has become a new entertainment center in Amsterdam. With the arrival of world-renowned hotel chains such as W Hotel, Soho House and The Hoxton, the city can look forward to a great selection of restaurants, bars and clubs.
Where the grand opening of restaurant The Duchess in the former Kasbank had previously received high praise, Mr. Porter's opening in the penthouse of the W Hotel in the former National Office Building for Money and Telephone Company near the Palace and Dam Square has raised many eyebrows.
Breakfast
Mr. Porter is now known for its delectable steaks paired with fine wines and skillfully crafted cocktails to end the evening. What many don't know but is definitely worth the effort is the breakfast they serve. Open to guests of the hotel and beyond, a breakfast buffet is prepared every day that is nothing short of amazing. From full (hot) dishes like scrambled eggs and American pancakes to a large selection of fresh fruits and juices. Including the beautiful view.
