Jondani: Parisian charm in bustling Old South
The name Jondani was born from a special story. Co-owners Mickey and Yoeri de Jong, two brothers and proud fathers, named the restaurant after their sons Johnny and Dani. "It was important to create something that represents our families and exudes the connection we want to share here," Mickey says. You can feel that family warmth everywhere: from the welcoming reception to the homey low bar. Jondani is a place where neighborhood residents from Oud-Zuid and professionals from the Zuidas come together for a personal dining experience.

Stylish hospitality
The interior, designed by design firm Woodfever, exudes luxury and comfort. A striking marble floor, mirrors that play with light and a clever lighting plan by DEP create a dynamic, inviting ambiance. "We want everyone to feel at home," says Yoeri. Whether you join us for a business lunch or a cozy drink, Jondani offers an atmosphere where you immediately relax. The terrace, with room for 40 guests, is the icing on the cake for sunny days.
An international flair with a French twist shines on the menu, curated by executive chef Michael Verboom. Think silky Black Cod, marinated 48 hours in miso, or the decadent Wagyu Burger Rossini Style with foie gras. The wine list, carefully selected by the sommelier, makes every bite even better. Daily changing dishes like the Catch of the Day keep things exciting.
Open from 11:00 to 00:00, seven days a week, Jondani is the culinary destination for the modern thirty-something. With room for 75 guests inside and 40 outside, reservations are smart. Stop by and discover why Jondani is conquering Oud-Zuid with taste, style and warmth!
