The menu at Water and Bread is a mix between classic American brunch dishes and Surinamese cuisine, which the two owners inherited from their mother. Truly everything on the menu looks delicious but some favorites are the O.G. Fraîche Fried Chicken & Waffles with maple syrup and scrambled eggs, the Salmon Burger with fennel and French fries and the Surinamese BBQ Chicken sandwich. Water and Bread is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. On Saturday and Sunday, you can visit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
