IJver is the newest hotspot in Amsterdam North. Beer lovers have come to the right place. With no less than 34 different beers on tap and 100 different bottled beers you can truly speak of a beer mecca.
The cozy restaurant features an immense terrace inside the warehouse and a huge outdoor terrace overlooking the IJ River. The terrace inside the shed allows you to sit inside heated and dry all winter.

The dishes on IJver's menu reflect the robust nature of the environment. These include cooking with mangrove charcoal on a charcoal grill. Expect flavorful, seasonal dishes with ingredients from Dutch soil, with a nod to Amsterdam's quirkiness.
"Beer is an important product at IJver. Not only on the drink menu, but also in the kitchen. We make beer-food combinations and cook with beer. Think of a rooster stewed in Weizenbier. A fresh, hoppy dressing of IPA with young pulses and a slush puppy of cherry beer," says chef Herman Klukkert.
