Bar Ramona is burgundy food and sneaky dancing

At Bar Ramona you can get food and drinks all day long without too much fuss. But of the best quality. In the evening, bubbly Amsterdam gathers in the bar and there might even be a dance.

When coming up with the concept and name, the founders thought of a contemporary café with a raw edge. A bit of rock 'n roll. The gentlemen managers thought of a tough woman. Funky and sexy. A hot chick that doesn't let herself be pushed around and loves burgundy food.

On the map with Ramona

Ramona's menu features international crowdpleasers during the day. From a variety of eggs on toast, acai bowls and well-topped sandwiches to a full brunch combo: fried egg, merguez sausage, toast, overnight oats, fresh fruit and a French toast. At dinner, you can go there for a mix of different cuisines. Favorites are the Korean fried chicken and bbq flatbread with baba ganoush, grilled halloumi, padrón peppers, red onion and lime. Also delicious and affordable are the daily specials. On Thursdays there is the Sate Royale menu and on Sundays they serve flip-flop.

Bar Ramona is the new sister of Bar Bukowski, Louie Louie, Waterkant, De Biertuin and Maxwell, among others. These hotspots were all set up by the hospitality group De Drie Wijzen from Oost, 3 gentlemen who, with various partners, now operate 18 catering establishments in Amsterdam.

Opening hours

Ramona is open Monday through Thursday from 08:00 to 01:00. On Friday and Saturday you can go there from 09.00 to 03.00 and on Sunday from 09.00 to 01.00.
