The downtown Patagonia flagship store serves not only as a store but also as a hub for the local community, with space for social activities and workshops focused on environmental protection.
"We see this new location as an opportunity to become an even more active player for positive change in the Netherlands. The store is a continuation of Patagonia's commitment to strengthen the connection between consumers, products and the planet," said Nina Hajikhanian, General Manager of Patagonia Europe.
The store is designed as a "declaration of love to the Dutch capital," with its décor and activities reflecting what the city has to offer in terms of innovation and creativity. In addition to selling Patagonia's sustainable products, the store offers a program of free events, including lectures and repair workshops, to be launched soon via their website and Instagram.
With this new opening in Amsterdam, Patagonia adds an important chapter to its European presence, which already includes stores in France, Germany, Austria and other countries.
