Amsterdam-based start-up Mr. Marvis is known for its short chinos, which they have been selling in 50 different colors, with cheerful names such as The Milkshakes, The Mojitos, The Mints, The Martinis, The Coconuts and The Limoncellos, through their own webshop since 2016. The three founders themselves call their shorts the perfect shorts. Timelessly stylish like Lacoste polo shirts and All Stars sneakers.

Own line of shorts born out of frustration
The idea for their own line of shorts grew out of frustration. Founder Steven Vrendenbarg always had great difficulty finding the perfect pair of shorts. This gave him the idea to design his own clothing collection together with his business partners David Sipkens and Aafke Tuin that consists purely of stylish shorts, from bermudas to swim shorts and sports shorts. Since March, Mr. Marvis has also been offering chinos in various colors.

Flagship Store
After great online successes, the founders looked forward to a store of their own early this year. A physical store in the center of Amsterdam. "The opening of the flagship store puts us even better in touch with the Mr. Marvis community" said co-founder Steven Vrendenbarg. The store opening meets the need of some customers to try on all types of shorts, see the more than 50 colors and experience the different fabrics.

Winkeldesign
Mr. Marvis' brand store focuses on one category, and the store design also revolves around one element. A continuous lighted tube connects the entire collection and fitting rooms. The whole looks strikingly light and colorful. Anyone entering the store immediately experiences the summery Mr. Marvis feeling.
