The SIREN: Stylish Mediterranean dining and high-level nightlife
With the arrival of restaurant The SIREN on the Rokin, Amsterdam gains a new jewel in its culinary crown. Spread over two floors of one of the city's most iconic heritage buildings, this Mediterranean masterpiece promises a unique experience that goes beyond food. The SIREN is a place that takes you into an enchanting world full of culinary and entertainment surprises.
At The SIREN, everything is about celebrating life. The restaurant offers a full à la carte Mediterranean menu, an intimate private dining room and a lively lounge bar that continues into the early hours. Expect delicious food, unforgettable service and legendary vibes from our live performers. In the mood for something special? Grab something from the Champagne Cart. Want to feel the heat? Take a seat at the open kitchen with the live charcoal station.
An Underwater World of Flavor
The SIREN is not just about food, it is about creating an immersive experience that transports you to the heart of Mediterranean traditions with warm and professional hospitality. The concept comes from renowned hospitality entrepreneurs Roy and Mike Poppes and Michiel Dekker, who previously impressed with SECRET GARDEN in Reguliersdwarsstraat.
"With The SIREN, we are creating a space that takes guests into a world of magical seduction. An underwater world where we invite our guests to enjoy the best food and cocktails," said owner Mike Poppes.
Atlantis in Amsterdam
The interior of The SIREN, designed by architect Will Erens of Too Many Agencies, was inspired by the underwater world of Atlantis. From the Mediterranean shores of Israel to the French Mediterranean, all the impressions and architectural finds of different architectural styles have been combined in the interior design. This creates a unique, atmospheric ambiance that really gives you the feeling of being underwater.
The Menu
The culinary offerings at The SIREN are a celebration of Mediterranean cuisine, with dishes from Spain, France, Italy and Greece. From house-made pastas and breads to fresh seafood and meats, each dish is prepared with precision and passion by executive chef Lein Schoe and head chef Michael Mulas, both known for their expertise in Mediterranean cuisine. In addition to the menu, there is a carefully curated wine and cocktail menu, with exclusive selections that celebrate the flavors of the Mediterranean. And then there's the champagne cart, which comes directly to your table with just a push of the champagne button, which can be found at each table.
An Enchanted Name
The inspiration for the name The SIREN comes from the mythical tales of a siren named "Amphitrite," who was married to Poseidon. This enchanting name perfectly reflects the magical experience offered by The SIREN.
The SIREN is not just another restaurant, it is a destination where every meal is a journey, every evening a celebration, and every visitor a guest of honor. Come and discover this Mediterranean masterpiece on the Rokin and be enchanted by the flavors, atmosphere and legendary hospitality of The SIREN. A magical underwater world full of culinary delights and unforgettable moments to experience.
