Barracuda restaurant favorite among seafood lovers

Restaurant Barracuda in North is the culinary sensation of the moment. The fish restaurant, located in an industrial warehouse near the banks of the IJ, was awarded a 9 by culinary journalist Mara Grimm in Het Parool. Since then, fish lovers have known how to find the restaurant blind.

The Anvil Street is the culinary pearl of Amsterdam North. With restaurants Goudfazant, Hangar, FC Hyena, Matto and Barracuda, and restaurants De VerbroederIJ, Zamen, Skatecafe and Taqueria Coba just a stone's throw away, it's still hard to choose where to eat, if you manage to get a reservation at all.

The fish menu
What a great feast Barracuda is to eat! From oysters, boiled shrimp, crab legs, shrimp croquettes, salad niçoise, clams in white wine to kibbeling, sardines and calamaro plancha, and monkfish from the oven. Not to mention; the fritto misto, consisting of fried calamari, anchovies and prawns. All seafood passes by and is served in generous portions.

Fish restaurant Barracuda opened under the slogan "affordable, simple and unpretentious," and that motto is working out well. The family restaurant is visited in droves and the comments are rave. To give everyone a chance to eat there, not all 250 seats are offered online for reservation. Half of our tables are for reservations, the other half are for walk-ins, so as not to disappoint anyone. How simple life can be. Wonderful!
