The Bosch
Need to get out of the city and into nature? That is already possible in about fifteen minutes by bike. Restaurant Het Bosch is in a beautiful location on the Nieuwe Meer, near the Zuidas and the Amsterdam Forest. Since 2 years Het Bosch is housed in a super modern and beautiful building with lots of glass on top of the water at the harbor. Both inside the cozy restaurant and outside on the huge terrace is spacious where you enjoy the beautiful view over the water, the passing boats and the greenery of the Amsterdam Forest.
Led by chefs Ferry van Houten, also owner, and Robert Scholte, the most delicious dishes come out of the kitchen. The menu is based on French cuisine with influences from Italy, Spain and Asia. Every week the menu is adapted to what is available on the market and the creative ideas of the kitchen team. Inspired by classic dishes, crafted with a modern twist. The five-course lobster menu has been a specialty for years. With an extensive and very enjoyable wine list, this is the ultimate fine dining spot.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, Het Bosch hosts Supper&Sound, fine dining accompanied by a live DJ where the sounds get more and more exciting as it gets later in the evening.
