Hotel de Goudfazant is a large industrial dining room, which is minimalist in design with red canteen chairs, linen tablecloths and a mega chandelier made of bottles. This is where you see Amsterdam creatives enjoying snacks and drinks at long picnic tables by the water in summer. In large numbers, culinary enthusiasts make the crossing to this corner of North to enjoy the food.

Don't expect satay or spaghetti bolognese at this goldcrest. Some of the menu: poussin on the spit with roseval, veal tongue and sweetbreads with polenta, terrine of goose with pistachio and many more feasts on a plate. Sounds like the finale of Masterchef! Expensive, well no! A three-course menu costs €30.50.
