Coulisse's concept is high-level food and drink with a low threshold. Pronounced flavors in a totally relaxed atmosphere. Innovative, surprising and refined. The young entrepreneurs like to call the concept "easy fine dining. The menu is inspired by dishes from around the world and consists mainly of local products from the land and sea. Dishes you didn't eat before, and won't forget. Guided by the seasons, and accompanied by both wine and non-alcoholic.
Apprenticed to the best
Chef Tim van der Molen gained experience at the world's best restaurant Noma in Copenhagen and Vuurtoreneiland. Maître Simon Witmaar learned the trade from Sergio Herman at his star restaurants Oud Sluis, The Jane and Pure C.
Interior
Piet Boon drew the natural and understated interior. Otherwise, the space is filled with lots of design, art and photography. Photographer Bart Oomes portrayed chef Van der Molen's favorite products. And artists Serge Hautvas and Frits Berends created unique pieces for Coulisse.
