SAIL Amsterdam 2025: A 5-day maritime feast
In 2025 Amsterdam will celebrate its 750th anniversary, which will be celebrated grandly with the tenth edition of SAIL Amsterdam, from August 20 to 24. This spectacular nautical event promises to be a triple anniversary; 50 years of SAIL, the tenth edition and the historical milestone of the city, with sailing giants and artists from all corners of the world.
But SAIL is more than just ships. This year, the event is taking the revelry to the next level with "SAIL On Stage. Each night offers a different musical theme, from classic crossovers to steaming dance. Artists such as Davina Michelle, Jan Smit and the 3JS have already been confirmed, with more names to follow. The backdrop of bobbing ships and Amsterdam's skyline makes this an unforgettable experience.
With over two million visitors expected, SAIL 2025 is not only a celebration of nautical history, but also of connection.
