The oasis of Matisse is the largest exhibition of Henri Matisse (1869-1954) ever held in the Netherlands. Join us on a journey through the French artist's multicolored masterpieces and works by his contemporaries from the Stedelijk Museum's permanent collection. The exhibition shows that until his death, Matisse continued to search for the minimum necessary to depict a light, cheerful carefree mood.
