Foam presents the exhibition Tulsa & Teenage Lust by photographer and filmmaker Larry Clark. Tulsa & Teenage Lust are Clark's first photo series in which his fascination with youth culture is central and sex, violence and drug use are explicitly portrayed. These projects caused great commotion at the time because of their raw images, but gained iconic status partly because of this. In addition to the photographs, on display is a 16mm film Clark shot while working on the Tulsa series, which was rediscovered in 2010. The film is a historical document in which the characters from Tulsa come to life, while also providing a fascinating precursor to his later cinematic oeuvre.
