Rize Gallery presents the solo exhibition Ritual by Parisian artist Kriki (b. 1965). The French sculptor and painter was involved in the principles of the so-called "street art movement" in his early years with his own characteristic "stencil graffiti. This was long before people had ever heard of Banksy. Kriki's art can be described as an iconographic composition, which painted on canvas, symbolizes the bridge between high culture and subcultures. Modern architecture, African masks, iconography, art historical- and pop cultural sources are transformed into colorful and surprising images.
