From April 9 to August 24, 2025, this exclusive exhibition, titled From Rembrandt to Vermeer, masterpieces from The Leiden Collection, at the H'ART Museum a rare opportunity to experience up close the genius of one of Holland's greatest artists. This is not just any exhibition; it is a celebration of the city's 750th anniversary as well as a dive into the daily life of the 17th century.

The eighteen works - seventeen paintings and one drawing - come from The Leiden Collection, one of the most impressive private collections of 17th-century Dutch art in the world. Never before have these pieces been exhibited together, making this exhibition unique. Highlights include three works from Rembrandt's series The five senses, showing his early mastery, and a self-portrait from 1634, in which a young Rembrandt captured himself with unparalleled expression.

But the exhibition offers more: in addition to Rembrandt, there are works by other luminaries such as Johannes Vermeer, Jan Steen and Frans Hals. A total of 75 works of art by 27 artists are on display, which together paint a vivid picture of life in the Golden Age.
